Biography
"Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy."
 Psalm 33:3

Bill Murk has been in full-time music ministry since the age of seven and has performed in all fifty states and over forty countries. With nearly fifty albums to his credit, Bill's eclectic style ranges from traditional to praise and worship, Celtic, pop, jazz, bluegrass, and contemporary. His rare, sensitive display of violin mastery breaks old stereotypes and inspires a new appreciation for this instrument while bridging the musical gap between the generations. Bill’s eclectic style covers a wide range of musical tastes with a captivating freshness that surprises even the most seasoned musician.

Bill holds a Masters Degree in Music from the Chicago Musical College at Roosevelt University and has soloed with orchestras around the world. As a producer, arranger and songwriter, Bill has worked with some of the top names in Christian music and his Bound For Glory CD was the first instrumental album to make the "Top Ten" in markets around the country. Today his music receives airplay on all six continents, and in Uganda alone, over five million people hear his music every day.

Whether ministering for 50,000 men at Promise Keepers, fiddlin’ at the Grand Ole Opry, leading worship with Don Moen, or accompanying and recording with such artists as Yolanda Adams, Amy Grant, Larnelle Harris, Point of Grace, Larry Dalton, Buddy Greene, 4Him, or The Gaither Vocal Band, Bill’s desire is to draw people into the presence of the Lord. And especially during these times of uncertainty, it is important that we re-focus on being in God’s presence!

Bill is now performing a brand new, electrifying concert of instrumental praise and worship music complete with multi-media!  This summer, Heather Michelle will join him in a series of special praise and worship concerts.

When Bill recently ministered at a church outreach event, a church leader wrote that “Bill’s remarkable gift of music literally rocked us all. Hearts soared, children danced in the aisles and our older saints tapped toes and sang along with his phenomenal, emotionally charged music. Bill’s talent and ministry blessed each and everyone. More than just Bill’s music inspired across generations. His testimony fires up faith and his message of triumph and praise exudes worshipful glory to God. We feel exceptionally blessed that God led us to Bill and know that He used him to further His Kingdom.”
